How Do You Handle Stress?

This week is Stress Awareness Week at SMC. We've asked some of our bloggers to tell us how they handle stress.


Wake up at 8:30
Class till 1
Lunch at 1
Work at 1:30
Meeting at 4
Working on different things for different meetings
Homework at 10 till about 2:30 a.m.

The day and the life of me! You know, if someone lived a day in the life of me, I know that they would be a little stressed. I know I have been there, but know I know how to handle a stressful day. JUST TAKE IT ONE STEP AT A TIME.
Phone call after phone call, name being called every 10mins...but you know what? I LOVE IT! I know that stress is a big thing at college. Sometimes people may do things that just are not safe, but let me tell you that is not COOL! Stress is something that I think people should not go through alone! I have found that once everything really gets to a point where I can not take it anymore I have to call my best friend! Your best friend is going to be the one who is going to listen to you no matter what! So when you are at a point in your life where you feel that too many people are asking you to do things, and everyone wants you to stop what you are doing for them, and your planner is full of ink marks, just stop and be thankful that you are able to serve others. If that doesn't work, talk to someone, it helps!
